Hi Cuz,
Hope you are enjoying your summer! I am assuming that you guys are in the Venice, having reveled in Italy's victory the other week. It must have been chaos that day!
I talked to your mom, and she told me that you guys were coming back to the States a bit early to close on a house. Congrats! I hope it goes well.
I guess we will miss you. We are coming to Venice on August 7th and staying till the 11th. (We may have to escape to the Dolomites to get away from the heat!)
Any suggestions for the trip? (yes, I know not to take the 'free' trip to Murano). We are planning on staying at the Hotel Gabrielli Sandwirth near St Mark's. There seems to be so much to see, I don't know how to narrow it down to the essentials, and still just relax and watch Venice go by.
April and I are going to Paris after we leave, but haven't given it much thought. We have been so focused on the Italy portion of the trip. We can't wait!
Anyway, I enjoyed strolling through you blog. One of your 'muses' is my absolute favorite as well. We love "Palins' Travels". (Pole to Pole is my favorite.)
