Here's a question... that article says "It collapsed in July 1902 and an exact replica was built in just ten years ."
However, in that THE SECRET VENICE OF CORTO MALTESE book, it says, "Hugo Pratt was not a fan of the (rebuilt) bell tower in St. Mark's Square... because he considered it squat compared with the original one which was much more slender."
