There is an alley just off of Via Garibaldi where there are nearly always tourists taking a picture like this... (For some strange reason, today was even a very slow laundry day!)
Venetians I know are very amused by the foreigners taking pictures of all the laundry lines throughout the city... I guess it'd be like somebody from another country coming to an American's house and taking a whole series of photos of the clothes dryer!
